December Creative Team Efforts for NDISB - R McGahey - Mama Mia's Kitchen

Hello everyone!  Happy December, Merry Christmas and all that good holiday stuff!  This month, I have chosen R McGahey's kit Mama Mia's Kitchen Papers and Elements! This is a fantastic kit with really interesting and versatile papers and elements!  Everything you could want in a kit.  I can see myself using this for recipe cards as well!!!!!  On to the good stuff:  I put together this layout of my 2 children, Rena and Ed, baking.  They both love to bake and are quite accomplished, especially at stuffed french toast, filled cupcakes, and pumpkin cheesecake!

My Two Favorite Bakers!  Rena and Eddie
You can find this fantastic Kit at NDISB here and here.  I do hope you get a chance to stop by and see all of the great offerings at the NDISB store.

Creative Team Efforts - Digi Scrap Princess - NDISB

Hi everyone!  Time for another CT Layout for NDISB Designer Digi Scrap Princess.  This month I chose 2 kits from Digi Scrap Princess and combined them for one lovely layout.  The Kits, Elizabeth Collection I and II are simply stunning.  Perfect vintage elements, and papers reminesent of the Victorian Era Wallpaper, this kit is rich and lush with that perfect historic feel!  I chose to scrap a picture of Mark's late mother, Anna Ruth.  This kit just seemed to call for this photograph.

The Elizabeth Collections I and II are simply perfect for all of your heritage layouts and add that "Shabby Chic" feel to them.  I will be going back to this collection again and again for all of my vintage photographs!  While you are out and about cruising the internet, stop by NDISB and Digi Scrap Princess's store to see all of the great kits, templates, styles, actions, paper packs and more that are offered there!

Happy Scrapping!

Creative Team Efforts for NDISB - CJ's Dreams - The Vineyard Kit

It is a new month and time for a new round of CT work!  The first of my CT Layouts this month was done with CJs Dreams The Vineyard Kit.  If you all follow my recipe blog (link on the left) you will see that Mark and I have an affinity for making our own wines, and this kit fit the bill for this simple yet elegant layout.  The elements in this kit are very well done and represent the title extremely well.  The papers are rich and textured and remind me of the textures that one would see at a vineyard.  Thank you to CJ's Dreams for letting me use this kit.

Our Natural Vineyard
You can see this lovely kit here and be sure to visit CJ's Dreams at NDISB to see all of the great product offerings there.

Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for more CT Efforts this month.

NDISB Creative Team Efforts with Products by Casey Massey

Hi everyone.  As October rolls on, I have another CT Layout for NDISB using the Designer Casey Massey and her lovely Summer Sunflower Kit and Add on!  Even though this kit has Summer in the title, it will work for so many types of layouts.  The colors are rich and the elements are fantastic with excellent realism.  I really enjoyed putting my little precious Snoochie in the layout with this kit!  I especially love the papers with so  much texture and patterns.  Casey did a fantastic job on this kit and add on!

A recent shot of our dog, Snoochie, on one of our grape gathering adventures.  This is one pooch that loves to ride in our Polaris Side by Side.  Her bed, blanket, and water bowl go with her and she is just as happy as a but-in-a-rug to ride with the breeze in her hair!

What a lovely kit to work with.  I hope you get a chance to head over to the NDISB Store and check out Casey Massey and all her fantastic products!

Another Layout for my Creative Team Efforts at NDISB - with Andy Designz

Hi Everyone!  Sorry it has been a bit since I made a post.   I have been ill, but now am on the recovery road!  I put together this layout with the Burning Foliage kit by Andy Designz at NDISB.  This is the very first time I have used products by Andy Designz and I have to say, I like them very very much.  The Burning Foliage kit has plenty of papers, frames and word art to decorate all those lovely outdoor Autumn shots. I have used this kit to showcase some of the fantastic foliage that we get here in SE. Kentucky and Tennessee.  I hope you enjoy!

I do hope you all get a chance to stop by Andy Designz and view some of the lovely products she offers!  Here's to hoping you all have a wonderful day!

First Freebie Post on the New Blog!

Hi Everyone.  Since changing over to the new blog, I have not posted a freebie.  Well, that is about to change.  Yesterday I had two requests for the free recipe cards I had posted on my old blog at Wordpress.
Well, I am rereleasing them here today for FREE for the next 15 days only.  Then they are going into a set of 12 Templates with a brush pack.  So, grab'em while they are free!

These are the same ones (with a small bit of alteration) that were released back in January!  Wow, I can't believe it has been an entire year almost!  There are two types of files, PNG images and a single PSD file that contains 6 groups (each group is a card) to save file space!  You can download them with the links below:

I have recently been informed that the PSD files do not open correctly for PSE so I have made a special file that is for PSE users.

Some Lovely Blog Candy!

Ohhhh how pretty!  Di's DigiDownloads has this lovely candy up for grabs until the 17th of October!  Pop on over, take a look!  I did, and being that I have absolutely NO traditional papercrafting supplies, I have my little fingers crossed to win this to start my stash.  And I am hitting up Sir Markus for a trip to the store so I can snag some goodies while there is a sale on!

But for now, I am sitting here, fighting software, trying to finish a Newsletter Freebie for RAKScraps.  Freebie, did some one say freebie!  Yep, but you have to be a member of RAKScraps to grab it in the Newsletter!  RAKScraps is free, yes I said free, and a wonderful digital scrapbooking community.  It would be worth your time to take a look.

Well, back to the hair pulling,  this was supposed to be done yesterday but photoshop is being a bit of a bear these last few days.  Why o' why can't computers and softwear get easier, not more difficult????  Nature of the beast I guess.

Stay tuned as the 1st of October I will be posting a special little announcement, and it has to do with freebies!

Thanks for stopping by!

Its A Guy Thing!

Challenge #7 at Scrapping with I Did It Creations is all about a Guy Thing. And what could be more "Guy" than a bit of trap shooting after a hard day's work! Mark took his crew up to the coal level, along with several guns and a box of clay pigeons, and they had a blast! Literally :-) !

Made with Brandy Murray's Mossy Collection from Scrapgirls. I would like to enter it into the following Challenge:

September CT for Scrappy Kats at NDISB

Hi everybody! Just posting up my newest CT effort for the lovely designers over at NDISB. This month I also have Scrappy Kats. I chose the New Day Kit from her collection. I fell in love with the papers and see so many possibilities with hybrid as well as digital projects. And the elements in this kit are fantastic! You could use this kit for anything from garden layouts, trips to the farmer's market and even beautiful sunrise photo layouts. I chose it for my layout with Rena and Cain's picture because I thought it helped evoke a feeling of friendship and closeness. Here is my layout:

Hope you all enjoy this layout! Stop by NDISB and check out all the great products ScrappyKats has in the store! You will be glad you did.

September CT for NDISB - AneczkaW

Hi everyone. Here is the first of my CT efforts for NDISB. I chose a lovely Black and White Kit by AneczkaW - Black and White World for this layout. It was a color photograph which I brought down to black and white for this layout. The entire Black and White World kit is just adorable and has such a "handmade" feel to it. In addition to the Black and White, there are several pops of color that really enhance this kit. I can see it being used for invitations and hybrid card projects as well. I do hope that you enjoy the layout, and check out all of AneczkaW's great products here.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!
