A break from the Holiday Madness

Hi everyone.  Oh to have a break from all this Holiday Madness.  I seem to have no time to even breathe!  Closing out the end of the year at my job, Christmas shopping, candy making for gifts, card to be made still, and all I want to do is sit down and stop!  But alas, there is no time!  Im sneaking off of my duties just to post this up....But I had a thought!  I was looking at my blog this am and said, Self, It is so brown!!!!!!!  But this is the thing....Im not great for colors, Ill tell you that right now.  I just got my first ever piece of pink clothing....well pink and gray, a track suit to wear to my workout class!  Anywho,  I NEED HELP!  I want to update  my blog wear to be pretty and artsy, but if it is not black drawing lines, well, I will fail miserably!  Sooooo,  if you all see any nice pretty artsy blogs, hey send me a link so I can look at them and try to get a major idea on a redo.......and I figured that I would throw in a coupon to the person who inspires me the most!  Lets say $15.00.  So, please help a sister get updated in a more girly fashion.....and yes, I am working on a little gift for you all, but Im not sure when I will get it posted.  Im thinking probably late Friday evening.....once the shopping, candy, cards, and a nap is over!  Just leave me a comment with a little linky to what you think would look nice, and me and the Man will have a peek.(he is beginning to embrace technology and likes to look over me shoulder when I do these type of things!)  Im fashion challenged so you lovely ladies have your work cut out for you!

I really appreciate all of you!
Have a Merry Merry Christmas and a joyous and prosperous New Year!

We hope that their lovely cards and other items will give you lots of inspiration when using Floppy Latte's Digital stamps!  So without further ado......Let's Meet -

Stef H.

My name is stef a/k/a glitterbabe.  I'm the sparkly one. glitter, glitz and bling! the more of it, the happier I am.  I'm a retired legal assistant and got into stamping back in 2001 when I was invited to my first home-stamping party and I've been hooked ever since.  I used to tell all my friends that I am only afraid that when I die hubby will sell all my craft things for what I TOLD him I paid for them! that would just kill me!!!! oh yeah, I'm the funny one too and Iam absolutely delighted to be a part of the FLOPPY LATTE DESIGN team!

And Stef has already been busy with a few images!

How pretty using Snowflake 3 Digi Stamp!  I love this card with it's cool, blingy colors!

And with the Newest Stamp, Happy New Year 1

I am really diggin this card as well, the champagne color is gorgeous and that backer paper is right on target for the type of card Stef made!  (I think she is keeping this one in her stash!)

You can visit with Stef Here at her blog.

Now Let's Meet...

I am 51, an MRI Technologist by profession, but am now disabled. I have been an artist in many forms since childhood. I've been stamping on and off since I was about 30. It became serious after going to a STAMPIN' UP workshop in 2002. I loved it so much I signed up to be a demo, and I was until 2009. I still enjoy their stamps, and those of other companies as well. I use digital stamps too, but to be honest my heart is with rubber (especially unmounted). I have a VAST collection of digital stamps, and in fact have to move them to flash drives to free up room on my computer. I am married and have 3 grown children. They are "bouncers" in that they have moved out and back a few times. LOL! Mostly my son, he is back with us now. I am an animal lover and at the moment have 1 cat of my own, and our grand-cat and grand-dog (we've told our son the dog stays when he moves out husband is quite attached...which is truly a first. I am attached too). My disabilities are mostly physical ones that started out as injuries. But since the last injury (on-the-job) got infected with MRSA and I lost bones etc. (lost the ability to work in my field and elsewhere really). I am dealing with Post-traumatic depression and anxiety. Art and art or craft work, is therapy for me, in many ways.My life isn't great, but it is what it is. My youngest daughter stamps some and scrapbooks also with me.

I was on a design team for a Scrapbook store here in NJ, that is now closed, called The Happy Scrapper. It is the only design team I have ever been on. However I have won several L/O contests in Scrap booking. Recently my work is becoming noticed in challenges on the Internet, and I actually won one with that awesome "Happy Fall" image card (Image by Robyn, The blog I won on- stamping for the weekend)!! It is nice to have a few "I won" badges and "I made top 3" badges on my blog now.

I would like to add that I entered the most challenges EVER in the month of October and committed to, and followed through on THE largest challenge in the arts in my life of; "The 31 Days of Halloween" (sponsored by SnS) and created something stamped (or digi stamp) EVERY day for Halloween During the month of October. I am so glad to stop being fearful of rejection and put my work out there!
I am honored to be a member of the DT for the "I Did It Creations" challenge blog (Robyn's Fetish Digi Stamps). Now, I am honored and flattered to be a product Designer for Floppy Latte Designs. I TRULY LOVE Jess's images, she is a woman of great talent!
Please visit Susan at her blog...

Well Folks, that is about it for today.  Remember that Happy New Year 1 is only free today at Floppy Latte's Digital Designs Store, and once it has gone to full price, the freebie is over.  Im doing this on a short run so be quick to grab it!

I have a few others on the ole digital drawing pad so stay tuned, another gift may drop down the chimney before Christmas!

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas, and a wonderous Holiday Season!

Now, I did mention a special presentation?

....oh yes I did.  Last week, I sponsored the I Did It Creations Challenge Blog.  Their theme was "Flowers" and they chose to use some of my Floral Frames.  Now most of these creations are by First Time DT's and boy, did they knock my socks off!  After each picture, I will be providing a link to their blogs so that you can bask in their talent as I have!

All of the following images can be purchased at  at Floppy Latte's Digital Designs AND

Christine Used Poinsettia Frame
I love the background paper Christine used and that bow is gorgeous!  Her coloring is exquisite as well!  Well Done Christine, and Thank you!

Cindy Used Floral Frame 6
This just screams summertime!  The patterned paper and the embossing of the circles really set the image, which is magnificently colored, right off. And the twine is a superb touch!  Well Done Cindy, and Thank You!

Hannelie Used Floral Frame 4
This is simply lovely and elegant.  Those corner beads, though small, make a huge impact on the entire card and the fabric bow is an extra special touch!  The lovely coloring keeps the image simple and clean yet adds elegance!  Well Done Hannelie and Thank You!

Jules Used Floral Frame 4
The addition of the 3d elements to this card make it extra special!  I love the hues of purple in her coloring!  And those precious Butterflies make the image complete!  What a lovely card!  Well Done Jules and Thank You!

Larence Used Funky Flower
Now this image speaks for itself!  Fun and Funky!  The coloring really leaps off the page and brings in the focus to the detail in the image!  Love the color choices and the corner embellies!  Well Done Laurence and Thank You!

Lilia Used Floral Frame 6
This is a statement of elegance!  The coloring and shading are phenomenal!  The ribbon and the corner embellishment really make this card extra special, and the dotted paper with the contrasting gingham print gives it so much interest!  Love Love it!  Well Done Lilia and Thank You!

Michelle Used Floral Frame 6
This precious picture is just that, precious!  The wonderful blue colors set this precious child off so well!  Very simply and artfully executed!  Well Done Michelle and Thank You.

Sue Used Tulips
One of my most favorite digi stamps!  The way they are "popping" right out of this card is wonderful!  The coloring and shading are fantastic!  I do so love the side embellishments and that purple frame picks the color up from the tulips so nicely!  Well Done Sue, and Thank You!

Susan Used Poinsettia Frame
I love the vintage look of this card.  Her coloring makes the digi look lifelike and the addition of the fabric flower is a great plus!  The bow is a super addition as well, bringing in a little bling!  Well Done Susan and Thank You!

Susan Used Tulips
Here again is the Tulips Digi, but done in a very sweet, springlike tone!  So pretty and feminine is this card!  The coloring and shading Susan has done is extraordinary!  So subtle and lifelike.  The little bees are just too cute as well, and an appearance by a pretty pink butterfly add an extra special touch to this card!  Well Done Susan and Thank You!

Great Tip Video

Hello everybody!   As I was sitting quietly in the living room awaiting Mr Breakfast to wake up and get to cooking, I wanted to research some print and cut tips for my Cricut since I am in the process of making a few christmas gifts that need cut outs and came upon this GREAT TIP.  I have been frustrated in the past at the print and cut issues with my Cricut.  But this has solved all my problems.  Now I wont go into all the steps to creating my graphics, but instead will link you to this fantastic blog that I found and right to the direct page that has the info on it.  From Clever Someday Blog!  I now can cut my items out and I wont have to waste paper!!!!!!!!  If you are familiar with your cutting machine and program that goes with it (or those 2 third party programs, MTC and SCAL) which I highly recommend), this is the tutorial for you!

Ok, Mr. Breakfast has offically titled our "resturant" this morning the "Full Grille Cafe" because he has all the breakfast on the nice big griddle cooking away!  Saves Ms. Dishwasher a lot of work!

Ok, off to breakfast then SHOPPING!

Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!  See You Tomorrow for Manic Monday!

MANIC MONDAY, and a NEW Feature!

This is the best part of my day!  I get to share with you all this Monday's Great Freebie!

I created this piece of word art for a shadow box picture frame set that I am working on for a Christmas Gift.  It would be perfect for wall art, card fronts....and I can think of so many more things!  All you have to do is go to Floppy Latte's Digital Designs and Check out the Specials on the Left hand side of the page and you can get this inspirational piece of word art FREE, no coupon required!

Now, last week Edwina of Edwina's Creations, sent me a lovely picture of the card she created with last week's Manic Monday Freebie!  Take a gander!

How Pretty Edwina, Im lovin that gold bow!  If you all get a chance, stop on over at Edwina's Blog and check out her creations.

Did I mention a new feature???  I sure did!  I have been industrious here on my day off and decided it was time to reward my faithful customers, so in addition to my Customer Rewards Program, I have a new feature, that will change weekly.  It is a Buy 3 Get One Free! (I love Free!)  This week the stamp up for the special is Poinsettia Frame:

Now,how this works is:
 1.  You do a bit of shopping (you must have 3 digi stamps in your cart and the total must equal or exceed $7.00).
 2.  Add Poinsettia Frame to your cart.
3.  Proceed to checkout when you are finished shopping. ***Note:  you will see the retail price of Poinsettia Frame in your cart UNTIL you enter the Coupon Code BOGO in the redemption area during checkout.
4.  Once you click through to the next page, you should see the price of Poinsettia Frame deducted from your total. (I have double checked this and it has worked both times.  You MUST TYPE in BOGO, you can't copy and paste as it does not always work that way).
5.  Continue to check out and viola, you get Poinsettia Frame FREE!  (Again, I just love FREE!)

Now, the offering will change each week, but the coupon code will stay the same and you will be able to reuse it only if you purchase at least 3 digi stamp products AND your cart total is equal to or more than $7.00.

I am giving this a test run to you all out there and if it is something that you really  like, I will continue it.

Ohhhhh I can feel the snow coming so I decided it was time to put together a few snowflake digital die cut files for you folks out there that have cutting machines and the software!  This week I have relased a set of three snowflake files (as well as each file individually).

Brrrrr! I can just feel the cold from these beauties.  Just a heads up, the digital stamp files will be released on the 9th of December!  These digital die cut files can be cut several times and folded on center, glued together, and hung up as 3 D ornaments!  Im in the process of doing that right now!  Or use as bag toppers, flat ornaments, tags, and anything else you can dream up!  They are available here for $2.50

I have noticed that I made a BIG Boo Boo and all my cut files I listed at $3.00.  Another case of looking at one thing and typing another.  All of the pricing has been reduced to reflect the correct price of $1.00 for each individual cut file.  The prices of digital cut file sets will also be reduced (the snowflake set above IS correctly priced!)  Sets will be discounted based on the # of die cuts in each file.

I want to thank everyone who shopped during the Black Friday All Week Sale!  The sale was a success!

Being that NewYear's will be here before we know it, I am working on a couple of great New Year's Images to be released next week so stay tuned here in blog land and/or with the newsletter to see what I have come up with!

Until Next Week,,,,or sooner, if the coffee holds out!
