Man, it is Manic Monday Already! And it is MM Freebie Choice Week!

Hi Everyone,
Well, it has been a week!  Now I really need another vacation!  Having my son here is wonderful, and so exciting, and well, time consuming lol!  This is one 15 yr old that just loves his Mama!  He is glued to me day and night!  And that is ok!  We have had a blast this week and we are ready to settle in for the  rest of the summer!  I sure hope so cause I just have to get my drawings done!  Ive been a slacker in the drawing department this week, although I got three finished yesterday, I still have to clean them up and load them up for you all!  Plus I will be adding more from Glitterbabe today!  I also have some great cards from Priss over at Papers and Pixels to add as well.  That lady is goooooood!

Anywho, I have a few announcements to make!  I will be adding a line of handmade papers to the shop this week (with fingers crossed!)  I am also putting them in our Local Craft Guild store as well, here in our little town.  These Papers are made with 100% Post Consumer recycled product, natural colors and great additions such as rose petals, herbs, leaves, and what  not.  Yeah, I know I need one more thing on my plate, but I really feel the need to do my part for the environment! (that coming from a coal miner is a bit strange, but hey, sometimes you just gotta!)  The papers will be offered in 8 x 8, 5 x 7, and 8.5 x 11 inch sizes.  Now, what I need to know is what is the most popular card size that you ladies make.  I would like to get screens built so that I will have the correct sizes!  If you could comment with the finished card size I can do the math to get the rest!    Right now my samples are at the University of Tennessee with Julie McKnight (Marks Daughter) being looked at by several people at the University, and being tested and what not!  They love them!  And they are excellent for writing, punching, and cutting!  I have even run one through my inkjet printer!    After work today, I will be posting pics of the paper that I made that has cilantro herb embedded in the fiber!  It is really really pretty!  Ok, on to the next pan in the fire!

I am in the preliminary stages of bringing a new line of art to the shop, ButterCheek Designs!  This line will be more focused on whimsey, fantasy, and a bit of nature!  It will also include larger pieces that would be suitable for wall art and other crafty items you might find the want to make.  This is still in the design phase and wont be out for a while, but it is rolling right along!

Next pan in the fire is "Simply Sentiments" which will be a line of Sentiment only stamps!  Yes, I know I am sorely lacking on Sentiments in the shop and now that I have a helper for the summer I can try to get a bit more accomplished!  Anywho, I will be offering a sentiment in 3 different styles.  Sometimes fancy is not what you need so when you purchase a Simply Sentiments set, you will get a choice of a fancy font, fun font, and standard font.  This is also in the construction phase, as these will all be sentiments written by me. (hmmmmm bet you didn't know that I wrote as well!)  Heee heee hee!  No wonder I can't keep a thing straight in my head!

Now you may be wondering why all the pans in the fire, along with drawing, working 2 and three jobs at a time and managing a household?  Well, I am at that time in my life where I need to be busy, and be more creative, and offer you all more great goodies for all the things that you do for others!  I have so many ideas running through my head, I figured it was time to get them out and make something of them!

I am also in the process of revamping Manic Monday as well.  Yes, you will still get a freebie each week (and I do apologize for last week! It was a doosie!)  Im just gonna change up the way I present them and what not!  And Im going to be adding games on the blog for the chance to win coupons to the store!   I guess what I am trying to get out here is that I want to get to a place in my life where my Art and Creations are my work!  And not have to rely on the regular 9 to 5 grind!  I know it is tough now out there and each one of us have to make our own way anymore and I can not think of a better way to do it than to do what I love!  And that is create!  So if you all, my most fav peeps on the planet will bear with me, you will all get to reap the fruits of my labours!  And that is how I want it!

Ok, now to the good stuff!  Your Manic Monday Freebie!  It is your choice this week!  I have put together a coupon MMCHOICE618 good for a $3.00 stamp for you all!  And I have extended the date until Sunday, as I WILL add more stamps this week!  And since all of my sunflowers are blooming so pretty I am putting the Florals and Frames Categories on Sale!  25% off this week until Sunday!  Im just in that flower mood again! (You all know they are my favs!)

So, grab the coupon code above and head over to the shop and grab your freebie!

Now, I have to work on the books, go finish a house remodel (it is door and trim day), work for a friend on a new shop, clean the house, laundry (Ill be posting a new great laundry soap recipe for you all this week!) and play with my son, and finish a custom card order to ship out this week!  Plus get new stamps in and draw some today as well so If I am gonna get done, I better get started!

Have a wonderful week and a great Manic Monday!
Catch you all on the flip!
